Bhubaneswar: School and Mass Education Minister Badrinarayan Patra on Thursday informed that the annual High School Certificate-2018 (HSC) results will be declared in May this year.
The HSC examinations which began in the state from February 23 concluded on Thursday.
Evaluation of answer papers of the HSC examinations will begin from March 20. The process will continue for 12 days.
A total of 13,280 teachers will check the answer papers of as many as 5,90,330 students in 57 evaluation centres across Odisha, said the Minister.
The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), which conducts HSC examination, has made elaborate arrangements to ensure error-free and hassle-free evaluation process.
The Odisha government was in a fix after the question papers of Odia, English and Science subjects went viral on social media particularly on WhatsApp.
The Cyber Cell of the State Crime Branch is probing the matter.
However, the Minister said the talks on the circulation of HSC exam question papers on social media are a rumour.
