College girl filmed naked after rape by boyfriend in Odisha

Kendrapara: The Kendrapara police have detained a youth for raping a college girl at knife-point and filming her naked on Tuesday.

The police action came after a girl of Kendrapara Autonomous College lodged an FIR against her boyfriend for allegedly raping her at knife-point and then filming her naked.

The incident occurred in Gayaspur village under Kendrapara Sadar police limits.

The girl in her complaint alleged that the accused identified as Smruti Ranjan Samal (24), a +3 Final Year student of the same college, had developed a relationship with her.

However, on January 24 this year, the accused dragged the girl to a bushy area near Madhusagar pond in the village when she was returning from tuition and raped.

Later, he threatened the victim to push her into the pond and photographed her naked at knife-point.

The girl lodged a complaint with the police after the youth started blackmailing her with those obscene photos.

He threatened to make them viral on social media.

Meanwhile, police have detained the accused.
