Bhubaneswar: In a tragic mishap, one person was killed and at least eight got critically injured when a speeding passenger bus collided with a car on National Highway 55 under Rairakhil police limits in Sambalpur district on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as Rajesh Pandey (43), the car driver and a resident of Bolangir.
The ill-fated bus was on its way from Angul to Sambalpur when it collided with a car.
While eight persons were injured, the condition of two of them was critical. The two have been shifted to the VIMSAR, Burla.
