Two Maoists were killed in police encounter in Sudulgumpha of Kandhamal district on Sunday. Four guns were seized from the spot.

After getting intelligence input about the presence of Maoists in the Sudulgumpha forest, a team of security personnel launched a combing operation and killed two members of the outlawed Communist Party of India (Maoist) in the anti-Maoist operation.

On Sunday night too, at least two Maoists were killed near Dudukamal under Belpada block in Bolangir district in a police encounter.
