Highlight competitive advantages of Odisha to global investors: Naveen

Bhubaneswar: Ahead of the Make in Odisha conclave, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday advised the Team Odisha to highlight the competitive advantages of the state to the global investor community to increase the growth of manufacturing sector.

The second Make in Odisha conclave is scheduled to be held in Bhubaneswar from November 11-15.

The Chief Minister expressed happiness over various departments’ initiative to organise sector-specific seminars to showcase the business eco-system in each sector.

He asked all the departments to plan and benchmark each event to global standards.

Patnaik said Odisha is first becoming one of the most preferred investment destinations in the country and the thrust is to bring more diversified industries to provide higher employment opportunities to the people.
