Over 3,000 kg of ganja seized in Koraput

Bhubaneswar: Over 3,000 kg of ganja worth Rs 2.40 crore have been seized in Odisha’s Koraput district, said police on Sunday.

Two persons have been arrested in this connection, said police.

The seizure was made after intercepting a truck near Machhra area on Saturday by a team of the special task force (STF) of the district police.

The arrested persons have been identified as Toufik Khan (30) of Madhya Pradesh and Lalit Mahajan (28), a resident of West Delhi.
