Vice President’s visit to attend AIIMS convocation rescheduled

Bhubaneswar: Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu’s visit to Bhubaneswar for attending the first convocation ceremony of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhubaneswar has been rescheduled to August 25, said sources on Monday.

Naidu was earlier scheduled to arrive in the Bhubaneswar for a one-day visit to attend the AIIMS onvocation.

However, the schedule later changed and the ceremony was postponed accordingly, said sources.

The Vice President’s office has sent a letter to the AIIMS, Bhubaneswar regarding reschedule.

Union Health Minister JP Nadda is also scheduled to also attend the convocation.
