Bhubaneswar: Amara Muzik has announced its first Odia film production that will star Sabyasachi Mishra and Elina Samantaray.
It will also star a differently-abled child, who will be selected after a round of auditions in association with Swabhiman and Anjali Children’s and Youth Festival. The selected participant’s name will be announced at the Anjali Children’s International Festival.
Commenting on his role, Sabyasachi Mishra said, “In the process of choosing between movie offers, I have come across many different scripts, but the script of this movie has thrilled me, a lot. I am playing a character that is differently abled, which will motivate the society.”
At the outset, Amara Muzik and Ladybird Entertainment, in association with Swabhiman and Anjali Children’s and Youth Festival conducted an audition for differently abled children at the Railway Auditorium, Bhubaneswar on 13th November.
“Today was a very special day for me as we conducted an audition for the differently abled, who will be seen acting with me in this movie. We have also made a list of these talents with their showreel and will help them to bag an opportunity to act in other upcoming big-screen projects,” said Sabyasachi Mishra.
“Amara Muzik is trying to bring out new concepts and stories to the Odia movie industry. The story of our first movie is built to suit the industry, and at the same time offer it something fresh. One such character in the film is that of a differently abled child, and we conducted auditions to spot the right fit. Odisha has a lot of talent, and our efforts are to spot them and provide them with the opportunity they deserve,” said Suraj Mohnot, Senior Executive, Amara Muzik.
