Bhubaneswar: The cold wave condition continued to prevail across Odisha with the met department predicting that the mercury to further dip by at least two to three notches in the next 2-3 days.
The evening bulletin of the Indian Meteorological department said the mercury plummeted to 5 degree celsius in Phulbani, making it the coldest place in the state on Tuesday.
The temperature dipped below 10 degree Celsius in at least nine places in the state.
Balasore (9.5), Angul (8.6), Jharsuguda (9.6), Keonjhar (7.2), Sambalpur (9.8), Titlagarh (9.5), Sonepur (9) and Daringibadi (6) recorded minimum temperature.

in Bhubaneswar, said the met department.
