Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Sunday announced construction of pucca houses for the families whose houses were completely or substantially damaged during cyclone Fani.
The Chief Minister said that the house damage assessment will begin from May 15 and will be completed within a week.
In all the extremely severely affected blocks, senior officers will be appointed to supervise the assessment process.
Work order distribution to the beneficiaries will begin from June 1, Patnaik said.
“I assure that all out efforts will be put so that not a single eligible person will be left out,” the Chief Minister said.
