Utkal Parida appointed BJD coordinator for Patkura Assembly poll

Bhubaneswar: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) on Friday appointed former legislator Utkal Keshari Parida as party’s coordinator for election to the Patkura Assembly Constituency in Kendrapara district.

BJD president Naveen Patnaik has appointed Parida as party’s coordinator for the election.

Parida was elected to the Odisha Legislative Assembly from Kendrapara constituency in 2004 elections.

The elections to the Patkura Assembly seat will be held on July 20. Counting of votes and declaration of results will take place on July 24.
