Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Friday appointed 5 IAS probationers (2018 batch) for implementing the Rs 500-crore Puri redevelopment works.
Chief Advisor to CMO R Balakrishnan and secretary 5T VK Pandian briefed the IAS probationers posted for Puri projects about their new responsibility.
Notably, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has announced a special package of Rs 500 crore to develop Puri as a World Heritage City.
Rs 500 crore
will be spent on a range of modernisation plans including infrastructure
development, construction of multi-lane roads, bridges, the revival of Musa
river, and the renovation of lakes and Mathas in the region.
