Buses not to ply through Acharya Vihar, Vani Vihar Squares

Bhubaneswar: The buses playing from Baramunda Bus Stand here towards Cuttack would not be allowed use the private road through Acharya Vihar and Vani Vihar Squares.

According to a notification issued by the Commissionerate Police, the buses are directed not to ply under the flyover through Acharya Vihar and Vani Vihar Squares in the city.

“All line buses coming from Baramunda Bus Stand on NH 16 towards Cuttack shall avail the flyover starting from the Crown Hotel square up to Satsang Vihar square,” the statement said.

All busses have been instructed to use flyover on NH 16 till Crown Hotel and from there to Satsang Vihar.

The Commissionerate Police said violation of the order will be punishable under Section 96 of the Odisha Urban Police Act 2003 and the violators will be fined Rs 1,000.
