Bhubaneswar: A low pressure formed over the Bay of Bengal has triggered heavy rainfall at several parts of Odisha while the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday issued warning for more showers for the next two days.
Several areas of Odisha witnessed rainfall under the impact of low pressure over the southwest Bay of Bengal.
The IMD has issued thunderstorm and rainfall alert for Rayagada, Ganjam, Gajapati, Koraput, Kalahandi, Nabarangpur and Malkangiri districts.
The IMD said
that south Odisha is likely to receive heavy to very heavy rainfall at several
places from October 23 to October 25.
