Priyanka Chopra expresses concern over Delhi air pollution


New Delhi: Actress Priyanka Chopra, who started shooting for her upcoming Netflix project ‘The White Tiger’ in Delhi, highlighted the pollution in the national capital by wearing a mask.

The international sensation took to Instagram to share a picture of herself wearing a pollution mask while shooting The White Tiger in Delhi.

She expressed concern over the deteriorating air quality in the city and highlighted how difficult it is to shoot in Delhi.

“Shoot days for #thewhitetiger. It’s so hard to shoot here right now that I can’t even imagine what it must be like to live here under these conditions. We r blessed with air purifiers and masks. Pray for the homeless. Be safe everyone. #airpollution #delhipollution #weneedsolutions #righttobreathe,” wrote Priyanka.

Meanwhile, the third edition of odd-even starts on Monday as the pollution levels increased in Delhi.

The odd-even scheme is a car rationing system. Under the scheme, the vehicles with odd last digit in the registration number will be allowed on roads on odd dates and those with even last digit will be allowed ply on even dates.

The odd-even scheme will apply to all non-transport four-wheeled vehicles.
