Jagat Janani Pvt Ltd bags Jurudi iron ore block in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Jagat Janani Pvt Ltd has bagged Jurudi iron ore block in Odisha, said sources on Monday.

The company bagged the mines by committing to pay 126.23% of the average sale price to the Odisha government.

The total reserve of the Jurudi iron ore block is 2.70 MT.

The existing lessee is Kalinga Mining Corporation.

Katasahi manganese mines will be auctioned today, sources said.

Yazdani, TP Sao, Rungta, PM Granite, Agrasen Sponge & Vedanta are in the race for the mines.

Katasahi manganese block has an estimated reserve of 0.667 MT.

Presently, the mines is with Rungta Sons Pvt Ltd.
