Bhubaneswar: About 4.86 lakh migrants have registered on the Odisha government portal to return to the state after COVID-19 lockdown is lifted, said an official on Monday.
Odisha government’s spokesperson on Coronavirus, Subroto Bagchi informed that the migrants have registered with the website in the last 48 hours.
The state government has launched a web portal covid19.odisha.gov.in for mandatory registration of people, who want to return Odisha.
The government is expecting that nearly 5 lakh people are likely to return to the state from other states after COVID-19 lockdown is lifted.
