Odisha reports 618 Covid cases, 3 deaths

Bhubaneswar: Odisha has reported 618 new Covid-19 cases and three deaths in the last 24 hours, informed the health department on Wednesday.

Two deaths were reported from Ganjam and one from Bhubaneswar.

The total number of positive cases increased to 14898 in the state while the death case rose to 77.

Out of the fresh positive cases, while 411 cases were detected from quarantine centres, 207 are local contacts, the department added.

Ganjam reported highest 286 Covid cases followed by Khurda with 107 cases and Balasore with 61 cases.
