Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has asked the ineligible beneficiaries to return the money availed under Kalia Yojana.
Around 50,000 people out of 51 lakh KALIA Yojana beneficiaries, who do not deserve yet availed benefits, have been asked to return the money through a dedicated govt account number.
Agriculture secretary Saurabh Garg informed that some of the ineligible beneficiaries have already returned the money.
They have been asked to return the money within a month to a bank account of State Bank of India (SBI).
Notably, small and marginal farmers, landless agricultural household, vulnerable agricultural household, landless agricultural labourers and sharecroppers are eligible under different components of the Kalia scheme.
