Covid-19: Odisha reports 2,698 positive cases

Bhubaneswar: As many as 2,698 new Covid-19 positive cases were reported in Odisha in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of positives cases to 72,718, informed an official on Friday.

The COVID-19 claimed 10 more lives in the last 24 hours as the death toll reached 390 in Odisha.

While four COVID-19 patients succumbed to the virus in Ganjam district, two died in Khordha district. Angul, Koraput, Nayagarh and Sonepur districts registered one each new death in the last 24 hours.

Out of the newly detected positive cases, 1675 are in quarantine cases, while 1023 are local contact cases.

The new COVID19 cases have been detected from 29 districts. The highest number of 475 cases has been detected from Khordha district.
