Covid-19 cases continue to decline in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The Covid-19 positive cases continue to witness a declining trend in Odisha as 1695 cases were reported in the last 24 hours, informed a health official on Saturday.

The total caseload climbed to 2,79,582 in Odisha.

Out of the fresh cases, 986 were reported from quarantine centres while 709 are local contacts.

15 more patients succumbed to the virus in Odisha in the last 24 hours, taking the Covid-19 death toll in the state to 1229.

The active cases of the state stood at 18882 while 2,59,418 patients have recovered so far.
