Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Saturday revised its Unlock 6.0 guidelines and announced that the School and Mass Education department would take a decision on reopening of schools in a graded manner after November 15.
It said that the department would take the decision in consultation with relevant stakeholders.
“All academic institutions will remain closed till November 30, 2020. However, the Department of School & Mass Education may take appropriate decision with regard to the date of re-opening of schools under its control/superintendence/supervision in respect of classes from 9th to 12th standard, in graded manner, after November 15, 2020, in consultation with relevant stakeholders and issue necessary guidelines/SOP,” said the revised guidelines issued by the Special Relief Commissioner (SRC).
Earlier on Saturday, the government decided to reopen schools for classes 9 to 12 from November 16.
