Covid-19 positive tally continues to decrease in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The Covid-19 positive tally continued to decrease in Odisha.

The state reported 986 fresh positive cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total tally to 3,05,986, said the health department on Thursday.

Out of the total cases, 572 were reported from quarantines while the rest 414 are local contacts.

The death toll due to Covid-19 in Odisha touched 1483 with 14 more patients succumbing to the virus in the last 24 hours.

Three deaths have been reported from Khurda districts, while two deaths each were registered from Nuapada and Sundargarh and one each from Sundargarh, Mayurbhanj, Kandrapada, Cuttack, Balasore, Kalahandi and Bargarh districts.
