Sanjay Singh appointed as BMC commissioner

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Wednesday appointed Sanjay Singh as Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) commissioner.

Singh is allowed to remain in additional charge of Vice Chairman, Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) and CEO, Bhubaneswar Smart City Ltd. in addition to his own duties.

Incumbent BMC commissioner Prem Chandra Chaudhary has been posted as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) General Administration (GA) Department.

Industry secretary Hemant Sharma is allowed to remain in additional charge of Principal Secretary of Skill Development & Technical Education Department.

Revenue secretary Bishnupada Sethi is allowed to remain in additional charge of Principal Secretary of Information & Public Relations Department.

Works secretary Dr Krishan Kumar has been given additional charge of CMD, IDCO.
