BMC’s revenue collection crosses Rs 150 cr in 2021-22

Bhubaneswar: Revenue collection has set milestone for the financial year 2021-2022 in Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC). The total amount collected during the year is Rs 150.51 crore.

Segregating the collection amount, holding tax collected upto 31st March is Rs. 62,50,28,428.92 and other revenues collected upto 31st March is Rs.88, 01,56,624.00 .

The amount has set a record for revenue collection. While last year, it was around Rs 118 crore, this year’s collection has crossed Rs 150 crore.

Despite COVID-19 situation and general election to BMC revenue collection during the year is satisfactory, said Deputy Commissioner Revenue Srimanta Mishra.
