Woman throws children into well, attempts suicide

Berhampur: In an unfortunate incident at Lauguda village in Ganjam district, a woman’s extreme actions led to the endangerment of her three children and her own life.

According to the police, the incident occurred amidst a family dispute, when the woman, overwhelmed by anger, threw her three children into a nearby well.

Subsequently, she attempted to commit suicide by jumping into the same well. However, the prompt action of the villagers averted a tragedy, as they managed to rescue the woman and her eldest daughter.

Upon receiving information about the incident, firefighters and police rushed to the scene. With their combined efforts, they retrieved the lifeless bodies of the unfortunate children from the well.

The police have launched a thorough investigation into the matter to uncover the underlying causes behind this tragic incident. It is crucial to understand the factors that led to such an extreme and devastating outcome.
