Bhubaneswar: Heading to intensify their campaign for the upcoming general and assembly polls in Odisha, Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Telangana Chief Minister Anumula Revanth Reddy are poised to make significant visits to the state in May.
According to Koraput Lok Sabha member Saptagiri Ulaka, Rahul Gandhi is set to visit Rayagada on May 3, followed by Revanth Reddy’s campaign in the southern Odisha district on May 8. Ulaka, who represents Koraput Lok Sabha constituency, which includes Rayagada, shared this information.
In the 2019 elections, Congress secured the sole seat in Odisha, underlining the importance of their campaign efforts in the state.
During his visit, Rahul Gandhi plans to address a massive rally expected to draw 100,000 locals and party supporters. Meanwhile, Telangana CM Revanth Reddy aims to focus his campaign in Rayagada district, aiming to garner support from Telugu-speaking voters for Congress in the upcoming elections.
Ulaka detailed that Reddy’s itinerary includes addressing the public during a grand procession leading to Amalabhata Chhak after offering prayers at Maa Majhighariani Temple in Rayagada on May 8.
