Colonel Pankaj Kumar takes over as Principal of Sainik School Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Colonel Pankaj Kumar has taken over as 19th Principal of Sainik School Bhubaneswar recently.

Prior to this, he was the Senior Education Officer at HQ 11 corps, Jalandhar.The officer has long experience of nineteen years of service at various operational defense establishments as education officerincluding at Army HQ, New Delhi, AEC Training College &Centre in Pachmarhi.

From the year 2019-2022, he served abroad on a special appointment by the Ministry of Defense.Col Ponkaj Kumar has his schooling from KV-Bokaro, B.Sc (chemistry) and MCA from Delhi University. The Officer has also passed master’s degree in Chinese Language with distinction and was topper of his batch. He too possesses B.Ed. Degree from IGNOU. Col Pankaj Kumar is a sports enthusiast. He is happily married to Priyanka.

The entire Sainik School fraternity wishes him a fruitful tenure and hopes that this heritage institution of Odisha will rise to greater heights under his able guidance.

Recently Lt Col Pritam Gajanan Kamble has taken over as the Administrative Officer of Sainik School Bhubaneswar.
