Training workshop on Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan concludes in Koraput


Bhubaneswar: A four-day State Process Lab (SPL) on Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan has been completed in Koraput, Odisha. The training was being conducted from 29th August to 1st September 2025 under the umbrella of the Dharti Aba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA).

The workshop was conducted by Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Govt. of India and facilitated by the Bharat Rural Livelihoods Foundation (BRLF). It has trained 52 participants from Rayagada, Koraput, Gajapati and Malkangiri districts of Odisha.

These participants who are designated as district master trainers will further train block master trainers, who in turn will take the training to the block level.

The training also witnessed participation of Civil Society Organisations namely Foundation of Ecological Security and PRADAN.

The Abhiyan seeks to make governance more effective by preparing 20 lakh field-level functionaries throughout the country who will lead development initiatives in tribal regions and facilitate the seamless delivery of essential government services.

The participants of different line departments were involved in integrated departmental planning and convergence activities. All four days of the lab process actively engaged the participants with capacity building and participatory activities, which helped them to roll out of the whole process of the DAJGUA program on village level smoothly in blocks and Gram Panchayat Level.

The initiative promotes citizen-centric governance by institutionalising grievance redressal mechanisms, encouraging localised planning, and fostering collaborative implementation, a release by the department said.
