The Chhatis Nijog (servitors’ body) and Niti Sub-Committee of the temple management meticulously planned the detailed schedule of the rituals during a meeting in the Pilgrim Town, with the final approval pending from the temple managing committee.

Chariot Journey and Unique Rituals

In this year’s Rath Yatra, the ritual of Angyamala from the temple will be omitted, as done in previous years. The majestic chariots of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Devi Subhadra will be taken directly from Ratha Khala (chariot-making workshop) to Singhadwar (Lions Gate) in front of the temple.
