Odisha assembly session likely from Feb 9

BHUBANESWAR: The Odisha Assembly Secretariat on Tuesday submitted a proposal to the Parliamentary Affairs Department for the beginning of the Budget session of Assembly from February 9 that would continue till April 8.

The session will have 31 workdays in two phases, said sources.

While the first phase of the session will begin from February 9 to 20, the second phase would be from March 8 to April 8, sources added.

The winter session of the state assembly was declared sine die ten days before schedule.
