SAMBALPUR: The Burma police station IIC on Wednesday filed a complaint against senior BJP leader and former minister Jayanarayan Mishra for misbehaving with police during Hirakud inspection of union Water Resources Minister Uma Bharti.
The police booked Mishra for misbehaving with IIC while the union minister was going to inspect the Hirakud reservoir.
The former minister, however, pleaded his innocence and sought to blame the police.
“I have not misbehaved with them. The police have misbehaved with me and detained my car in Sambalpur. The police are conspiring against me,” said Mishra.
