Case Filed Over Bonda Girl’s MMS

MALKANGIRI: A Samiti member of Malkangiri district headquarters has lodged a complaint with police demanding the immediate arrest of the persons involved in a MMS case of a Bonda girl.

Prashanti Lata Bishei filed the case on Friday after an objectionable video clip of a Bonda girl was circulated on various social media platforms in Malkangiri and Koraput districts recently.

According to reports, the accused shot the video clips without the girl’s knowledge when she had left home to work as a bonded labourer. The victim has now lost her mental balance after coming to know of the video leak and is remaining indoors fearing public embarrassment.

The incident is a blot on society, and exemplary action should be taken against the accused Immediately, complainant Prashanti Lata Bishei said.

Based on the complaint, police would investigate the matter after registering a case, sub-inspector Pradip Dharua said.
