Rajendra Prasad Das New VC Of Berhampur University

BHUBANESWAR: Rajendra Prasad Das has been appointed as the vice-chancellor of Berhampur University.

A notification on his appointment was published on Friday after the approval of Governor and chancellor of state universities SC Jamir.

The three-year tenure of present vice-chancellor of Berhampur University Deepak Kumar Behera will end July 31. Das likely to take charge of the post on Saturday, sources said.

Das is currently serving as the director of Institute of Management at Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Das, a Commerce graduate from Utkal University did his M Phil and PhD from Kurukshetra University.

He has vast teaching experience and thought management subjects in Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Business Management, Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University, Jiwaji University-Gwalior, Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI)- Jamshedpur and Kurukshetra University-Haryana.  Besides, he has also successfully handled administrative positions in some reputed institutes.
