PM Sanctions Exgratia For SUM Hospital Fire Victims

Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sanctioned an exgratia relief of Rs.2 lakh each to the next of kin of the persons deceased and  Rs.50,000 each to the persons, who got seriously injured in the fire accident that occurred in the SUM hospital in Bhubaneswar.

The fund has been sanctioned from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund.

Notably, 21 people have died in the SUM hospital fire mishap. Over 100 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack.
