Sudarsan creates new world record; finds place in Limca Book of Records


Puri: Limca Book of Records on Sunday officially confirmed that renowned Sudarsan Pattnaik has created a new world record by carving 1000 sand Santa Clauses at Puri beach in Odisha.

“The Limca Book of Records has officially confirmed that my 1000 sand Santa clauses set a new world record,” said Sudarsan.

He broke his own record which he had created in 2012. He had created five hundred sand Santa Clauses which was placed in Limca Book of Records in 2012.

Sudarsan registered his name for the 23rd time in the Limca Book of Records.

Pattnaik took four days and used about 1, 000 tons of sand with some colored sand to carve this one thousand sand Santa Clauses. About 35 students of his sand art school joined hand with him to finish this.
