Girl beats up a man for passing lewd comments in Cuttack

Cuttack: Yet another case of girl molestation has come to fore in Odisha. This time, the girl mustered courage and beat up the man, who allegedly tried to molest her in Cuttack.

The video of the girl beating up the man in full public glare has gone viral on social media.

The incident happened at Badambadi bus stop on Saturday evening.

According to reports, the girl, a resident of Bhadrak district, was waiting for a bus when some youths hurled abuses on her and fled the spot.

The girl caught hold of the man who was standing near the accused and suspecting him involved in the matter she started beating him and made him apologize in front of public.

However, the main accused has fled from the spot after passing lewd comments at the girl.

Sources said a complaint has been filed with the commissionerate police.

Three girls and a friend of them were allegedly thrashed and misbehaved by some youths near Magnet square in Bhubaneswar on Saturday.
