Google girl Meghali Malbika Swain sets three records

Bhubaneswar: Ten-year-old Meghali Malbika Swain, also known as ‘Google Girl’, has established three records with the Indian Book of Records (IBR) in Bhubaneswar.

Meghali was supposed to recall the names of 1000 rivers of the world within nine minutes, 1000 cities under 10 minutes, and 1000 physical bodies under 12.

She recited the names of 1009 rivers in 7 minutes and 39 seconds, 1010 cities in 9 minutes and 4 seconds, and 1012 physical bodies in 11 minutes and 29 seconds.

The 10-year-old underwent a ‘spot adjudication test’ that was witnessed by the officials of IBR, Faridabad at IDCO Tower. As composed as she appeared at the event, Meghali recalled the names without fumbling even once that amazed everyone who attended her record-breaking attempts.

“I was very sure that I would be able to say the names in individual categories within eight to nine minutes. I am happy that I have succeeded in doing so,” she said after the test.

The young girl now plans to rehearse 5000 physical bodies from across the world within 50 minutes.
