Odisha likely to receive rainfall till March 11

Bhubaneswar: High pressure over the Bay of Bengal and a cyclonic circulation over north Odisha, Jharkhand and gangetic West Bengal are likely to bring rainfall in several parts of Odisha till March 11.

According to the Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre, several districts including Balasore, Bhadrak, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Jajpur and Deogarh districts are likely to experience more rainfall till March 11.

Similarly, showers are likely to occur at some places in Cuttack, Khordha, Nayagarh and Balangir districts.

The intensity of the rainfall would decrease after March 12.

The met centre also predicted that thundersquall accompanied with hail and gusty surface wind speed reaching 50-60 kmph likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Keonjhar, Bhadrak and Jajpur from 02.45 pm to 06.45 pm today.
