Sudarsan spreads awareness on TB through sand art

Puri: Renowned sand artist Sudarshan Pattnaik has created a sand sculpture on the beaches of Puri to spread awareness regarding tuberculosis (TB) on this World Tuberculosis Day.

Pattnaik was also announced as the new TB Ambassador of Odisha by REACH, a non-profit organization dedicated to the fight against TB for almost two decades in association with the State TB Cell, Odisha.

“Tuberculosis continues to be the biggest health problem in India. It is preventable and curable. We just need to create awareness regarding the disease,” said Sudarsan.

As a TB ambassador, Pattnaik will help raise the profile of TB at both the state and national levels, and will make TB more visible in the public domain.
