Bhubaneswar: The much awaited railway services to Odisha’s Nayagarh district will commence from June 19.
The construction of railway track between Bolagarh Road station and Nayagarh Town station– a part of the ongoing Khurda Road-Balangir Rail Line Project– has been completed and the Chief Commissioner of Railway Safety has given nod for train services in the route.
Railways Minister Suresh Prabhu will dedicate the newly built line section, inaugurate the Nayagarh Town station building & Bolagarh Road passenger halt and flag off the Khurda Road passenger train upto Nayagarh at 3 pm on June 19 through video conferencing from Rail Bhawan, New Delhi in the presence of Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Petroleum & Natural Gas Minister.
On the inaugural day, the train will run as a special train from Nayagarh Town station towards Khurda Road at about 3 pm. However, the regular service in the extended portion will be commenced from June 20.
Train Timings:
58430 Nayagarh Town-Khurda Road Passenger will leave Nayagarh Town at 05.00 hrs and will reach Khurda Road at 07.00 hrs. In the return direction, 58429 Khurda Road-Nayagarh Town Passenger will leave Khurda Road at 19.35 hrs and will reach Nayagarh Town at 21.30 hrs.
58431 Khurda Road- Nayagarh Town Passenger will leave Khurda Road at 07.45 hrs and will reach Nayagarh Town at 09.30 hrs. In the return direction, 58432 Nayagarh Town-Khurda Road Passenger will leave Nayagarh Town at 10.00 hrs and will reach Khurda Road at 11.30 hrs.
Stoppages:
Both the trains have 10 Second Class Seating and Two Guard cum Luggage Vans having Stoppages at Khurda Town, Begunia, Rajsunakhala, Bolagarh Town PH & Bolagarh Road Stations between Khurda Road & Nayagarh Town from both the directions.
