Woman raped, killed in Ganjam village!

Berhampur: A woman was allegedly raped and killed by some miscreants in Odisha’s Ganjam district on Monday.

According to reports, some miscreants strangulated a woman to death and looted her ornaments while she had gone to attend a nature’s call at Dendalia village under Brahmapur Sadar police limits in Ganjam district early this morning.

It is suspected that some miscreants raped the woman and strangulated her death. They also allegedly looted gold ornaments she had worn.

The family members of the woman lodged a complaint in this regard on Monday. On being informed, the Brahmapur Sadar police have reached the spot and started an investigation.
