CBI raids houses of Rourkela Steel Plant DGM

Bhubaneswar: Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday conducted raids on the houses of Rourkela Steel Plant’s New Plate Miller DGM Rajib Ranjan at different places in connection with tender irregularities.

The CBI conducted raid for his alleged complicity in the equipment procurement-related irregularities.

According to the allegation, there have been irregularities in purchase of equipment of plate miller involving crores of rupees.

The CBI sleuths conducted raids at seven places, including Ranjan’s house at Rourkela, said sources.
