Girl kills boyfriend in Bhubaneswar, surrenders with another youth

Bhubaneswar: A girl killed her boyfriend at Tarini slum in the Laxmisagar area in Bhubaneswar and then surrendered to police on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Baijayant Prasad Mohanty, a Marine Engineer and a resident of Raghunathpur in Jagatsingpur district.

According to reports, the girl along with her another boyfriend killed Baijayant and then surrendered to the Laxmisagar police.

According to reports, Mohanty had come to Bhubaneswar to renew his passport. He was called by his girlfriend to the crime spot to talk over some matter. Later, it is suspected that the conversation took an ugly turn, after which his girlfriend strangulated the youth to death with the help of her another youth.

Both the accused have surrendered before the Laxmisagar police.

The police have reached the spot and started an investigation.
