Winter session of Odisha Assembly continues only 5 days

Bhubaneswar: The winter session of the Odisha Assembly continued for five days as Speaker Pradip Amat adjourned the proceedings sine die on Saturday, 18-day before the scheduled closure.

The winter session functioned for only for five days inviting criticism from the opposition Congress and BJP. The ruling party claimed that there was no more business to be transacted in the session.

The session began on November 16 and was scheduled to continue till December 15.
