+3 student drowns in river while taking selfie in Odisha

Koraput: Taking selfie has turned fatal as a +3 student drowned in river in Odisha’s Koraput district.

Ritik Achari, a +3 student of Boipariguda Degree College, drowned in Kolab river while she was trying to take a perfect selfie.

Achari had gone on a trip to Gupteshwar temple along with some friends last evening.

He went very close to the bank of Kolab river while trying to click a perfect selfie and accidentally slipped into the water.

The victim was swept away by strong current in the river.

ODRAF and fire services personnel rushed to the place and launched a search operation in the river to trace Achari.
