Bharat Bandh: Utkal University postpones exams

Bhubaneswar: In view of the nationwide shutdown, Utkal University has postponed the examinations scheduled to be held on Wednesday.

It said the date of the said examination will be notified later on.

“In view of the Bharat Bandh called by different organisations on January 8, 2020, and keeping the inconvenience to be caused thereby for the examinees, all the examinations scheduled to be held on 08.01. 2020 are hereby postponed,” said a notification.

Notably, several central trade unions have called for the Bharat bandh on 14-point charter of demands.
