Bhubaneswar: Board of Secondary Education (BSE), which is conducting the HSC exam 2020 in Odisha, has warned that the schools shall be held responsible for damage of CCTV cameras installed for the 10th exam.
It also said that the results of the concerned candidates will be kept withheld.
“It has come to the notice that some of the CCTVs have been damaged intentionally and it may happen in some other centres in the coming days,” said Controller of Examinations, BSE in a letter to all District Education Officers.
In the case of damage to CCTV cameras, the centre and concerned attached schools shall be held responsible for the same, the Controller of Examinations said.
The BSE official said that the cost of damage shall be collected from them and the results of the concerned candidates will be kept withheld.
The official has issued strict instructions for safeguarding CCTV cameras and other connected equipment installed at the exam centres.
It has been directed not to switch off DVRs of the cameras.
BSE has installed CCTV cameras at 1000 sensitive exam centres of the annual matric examinations.
The Matric exam commenced on February
19 and is scheduled to conclude on March 2.
