Blue whale carcass washes ashore in Puri

Bhubaneswar: Carcass of a 30-feet blue whale washed ashore at Astarang beach in Puri district.

The carcass washed ashore on Thursday evening.

The wildlife personnel were at the spot to remove the dead whale from the beach.

Sources said they will take parts of the wheel for an autopsy to ascertain the cause of death.
