Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Sunday declared the students of Class-I to Class VIII in the state-run schools ‘all pass’.
The state government took the decision in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak.
“All the students except Class-IX are declared to have passed without annual examinations this academic session due to COVID-19 situation,” said School & Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash.
As the examination of one paper of Class-IX is yet to be held, the department will take the decision on the particular Class after the Coronavirus situation is over.
